015 : Green Ketupat

Wednesday, 31st August

Assalamualaikum and Happy Eidul Fitri to all viewers! How's your eid, pals? Hope it is filled with most faith to ALLAH SWT, forgiveness, smiles, laughs, joys, gratefulness and love. <3

So, here I am asking for forgiveness from all the people in this world who knows, me even for a split second. :P

My eid this year has been so meaningful as I was given a chance to celebrate it with my family, which no one can confirm I can celebrate this meaningful event with my loved ones again next year. Thank you, ALLAH. :)

This year, our big family picked purple as our outfit theme. The colour was suggested by my mom, the purple lover. :) Everyone was supporting, including my grandmother, by putting on purple baju kurung/baju Melayu, with various tones though. From Tuaran, after visiting the graves of some relatives *Actually, my family didn't join them as we got a little 'technical problem' so we went to a restaurant in Tuaran Town :3, we went to Kota Belud to visit my grandmother's sister, relatives and another graves there.

On the way back from Kota Belud, I saw him drove heading to Kota Belud. :3 *Still able to picture the scene. Haha

It's kinda sad because I only have a week to celebrate eid with my loved ones before flying back to  Selangor. Sigh.

Malaysia, Happy Independence Day! :D

(Google Image)

Alhamdulillah, I'm grateful to be born in this land, as a Malaysian. Today, my country has been freeing itself from the grip of imperialists for about 54 years! Congratulations, Malaysia!

As a Malaysian, we ought to maintain this achievement. We don't want the colonizers to colonize our land again, do we? Hence, let us together, stand in unity, defend our country. As a student, all we can do is gain knowledge as much as we can. 'Knowledge is Power'.
By having knowledge, in shaa Allah, we can hardly be fooled by the people, able to differentiate between good and evil and manage to think wisely in complicated crisis. With high cognizance, Malaysian wouldn't have time to discuss about their unsatisfied feelings towards the government. *I will not discuss further on this post.

Other than gaining knowledge, try hard not to cause any social problems to our country. Stay away from drugs, be a positive people with a positive thinking that will lead you to at least, one positive outcome in your life. :)

So, lets spread peace and love. <3 Happy Independence Day! :)

013 : Stressful White Papers

"Are you afraid of exams?"
"Do you wriggle at the thought of it?"
"Are you having butterflies in your tummy?"

Lines taken from SM SFX Choral Speaking Team's script

Life as a student can never be separated from this big event called 'examination'. It's the 'season' when almost all students will have at least a small different in their attitudes. The lazybones who never interested in reading would strive hard to read the whole book in just one night. The sleepyheads who keep on yawning while reading would rather stay up to finish the syllabus. Why examination is so stressful?

During exams, candidates are gathered in a big hall or classroom, sitting, almost feel like alone where another person would sit about a least 2ft away from the other person. No sounds should be made. No voice should be heard, only the invigilators'. It would only be you and your brain.

You are given at least a sheet of question paper. White sheet of paper. Creepier, sheets of paper; a question booklet with more than twenty pages or not less than 10 questions. *Thinking of this makes my brain tired.
The questions might request answers that you know. This sounds easy. But, they could also be something that when you read you'll go like, "How can they think of this question?" or "Is this even in the syllabus?". Besides, examination is also a battle with time. We have to answer all questions in a period of time. This what presses us actually in addition to the level of difficulty of the questions.

Relax!
To reduce the stress, be well prepared! Study consistently. Read at least a chapter or a topic a day for all subjects. With this, in shaa Allah, we'll manage to cover everything before exams. :)
Practice 'read and understand' instead of 'read and memorize' for subjects which require us to understand concepts like Chemistry, Biology, Physics and etc. Actually, almost all subjects need us to understand than to memorize.
Inside the examination hall or room, we ought to let our mind to relax by thinking of happy thoughts. Be in a happy mood. :) By trying to remembering hard on some facts would cause our mind to be distracted and this what makes us stress.
Last but not least, always remember that we are not alone. God is with us. In shaa Allah. :)
After all we've done, He will reward us. So, recite prayers and have faith! InsyaAllah, everything would run smoothly. Even when we think it's not, it will. InsyaAllah..
