012 : The Month of Gold

Sunday - July 31st, 2011
When exactly is the month of gold? RAMADHAN it is! :D
Why is it full of gold? O.o  In this month, the rewards for all our good deeds are doubled! The doors of heaven are opened widely whilst the doors of hell are closed and all the devils are tied. :D
So, for me RAMADHAN is the month of peace.

We start to fast at dawn and will end with sunset. :) It's the month where we could and should change to a better person. We have to try the hardest to limit our eye sight, control our tongue from saying useless words, 'filter' our ears from hearing lies and bad stories about others. It's also a month of forgiving and forgetting the hurtful past. In this month, we should increase our generosity too. We ought to donate and give something to others as others have their rights in our property, this, many people do not notice. Giving others our sincerest smile is also a donation. So, keep on smiling! :D

So, let us thank ALLAH S.W.T for giving us a another year of meeting this precious month. Syukur Alhamdulillah~

011 : In Front The Hazel Eyes

Sunday, July 31st, 2011

First of all, let us thank GOD for letting us to read this post, to be able to log on to Facebook and other web pages, to cry our hearts out when watching sad and sentimental movies, to get hypnotized by seeing our loved ones and to get peace when viewing the beautiful scenery. :) Without eyes, can we do all these interesting activities?

I was once have had such a reliable and 'high resolution' pair of eyes. Well, of course the level of my eyes' resolution is nothing compared to that of an electron microscope but they were extremely incredible. No jokes. But then, I was neglecting them. I didn't care of their condition by staring at the screen of laptop or computer for such a long period, typing messages in the dark, reading books without taking time to give my baby a rest. :( This, I regret.

But GOD knows what's the best for us. So, I'm thanking GOD for giving me more less 17 years of having a very good sight and I am very sorry for accidentally taking things for granted. :(
All I can do now is moving on with my short-sighted eyes. Of course it's saddening when I have to wear spectacles now. It's not that I won't look good in it but its price - it will cost daddy a lot. :(
Looking at the bright side, there are several 'benefits' of having a short-sighted eyes. :) One of them is we are starting to appreciate things. We suddenly will look back on what we have had previously. This would be a lesson for us on other matters.

So, before yours eyes starting to reduce their resolution and get worse, here are some tips on how to take care of your eyes.

1. Eat carrot! Carrot will improve our eyesight. Deficiency of vitamin A can cause some difficulty seeing in dim light. Since carrot is rich in vitamin A, it is good for improving eyesight.
2. Wear protective eye-wear. Wear protective eye wear when playing sports or doing activities around the home. Protective eye wear includes safety glasses and goggles, safety shields, and eye guards specially designed to provide the correct protection for a certain activity.
3. Be cool and wear your shades. Sunglasses are a great fashion accessory, but their most important job is to protect our eyes from the sun's ultraviolet rays. So, grab one today!
4. Clean your hands and your contact lenses properly. Always wash your hands thoroughly before putting in or taking out your contact lenses, This is to avoid the risk of infection. Make sure to disinfect contact lenses as instructed and replace them as appropriate.
5. Give your 'babies' a rest! Eyes, resemble any other organs in our body need to rest. So, getting enough sleep is crucial in order to refresh them.

010 : Sky-Blue for Cool

"Don't worry, I'm fine." :)

It has been more than a month since I left my beloved state, Sabah. I'm currently staring at my lappy screen, with my fingers keep on tapping the QWERTY board, inside my room which I share with one of my housemates, Amirah Atikah. :)

Kolej Teknologi Timur. It is the place where I meet many amazing, intelligent, cool and interesting people from all over Malaysia. It's where I have to gain knowledge as many as I can before sitting in the examination hall. A-level. It's the program I'm taking here. So far, the study is enjoyable, fun and interesting. Of course, it's harder than SPM. Duh~ It's obvious! :) But insyaAllah.. I'll give my very best.

I was having one fun orientation week here, as soon as I was officially registered as KTT's student.  I was in Group 7. The members were all sporting and happening~! :) I was having lots of fun knowing them and we were even closer when we were practicing our medley dance for the closure ceremony. I was quite proud to be in this group. We've won  second place for the Telematch and grabbed third place in the performance (medley dance). Overall, we were the second runner up~! :)

 This is my dance group.

We were starting to begin our study in the second week. I'm in ALL10. ALL10 is my class with another 27 intelligent persons. They are fun and fantastic but of course, I miss my former classmates. :) Here, I take four subjects, yep, only four brain-cracking subjects - Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Physics.

Alhamdulillah~ So far, the story of my life here is quite interesting and fine. :) Hugs for mama and papa. :)
