003 : Which Green Grass will I Choose?

Saturday - April 30th, 2011

Hey, viewers! :) In this third post, I would like to share a video. It's kinda nice but a bit nonsense. A bit, okay? Just a little tiny bit nonsense. :D

So, how the video goes? Got something in mind? Does someone suddenly appear in your thought? :D
I do not know if students would even ask such thing to their teacher but the teacher sure is intelligent! The teacher's analogy has the points there.

"When we have met with someone we love, let us not search for more and be grateful. We should appreciate them. It's no use to look back as bygones will always be bygones. We could just hope that the past where we did commit mistakes will not be reiterated. And do 'jot down' in mind that the people with us now is the best and most beautiful person we could ever had, though actually, there are many other beautiful persons out there."

So, let us appreciate all the people who love us today! But, this situation is different when your partner now is obviously NOT even good to you. :D Can you get my point? >_<

To someone very dear to me, you are the BEST I could ever have.

002 : One Colorful Event.

Saturday - April 23rd, 2011

On the 9th April, my former high school, SM Saint Francis Xavier had conducted one big event. It was a bazaar. There were more than 20 stalls if I am not mistaken, selling fried chicken, nasi lemak, nasi minyak, ice cream, fruits, drinks and many other stuffs! There were even games organized by Police Cadet Association, Basketball Club, Ping Pong Club and other clubs.. Besides that, anyone was allowed to sing or 'jam' in the Bauer Hall, if and only if they paid for it. :D

Visitors had to buy coupons in order to buy the items sold in the stalls. I spent RM20 that day and I tell you it was not enough! There were many other things I didn't manage to buy. :( Anyway, this big event was inaugurated by Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Musa bin Haji Aman, Sabah's Chief Minister. This was sure one big event.

I came there in the afternoon with my bestie, Nazihah. :) We managed to capture several pictures  to share.

This is a funny picture of us, outside the school washroom. :)
We went playing games and buying foods.

These pretty girls along with this dashing boy were selling stuffs like soft drinks and fruits. I like this stall because they sold my favorite soft drink, chrysanthemum tea and my favorite fruit, pineapple! :D
Below is the picture of me, eating strawberry ice cream. :)

And this is the pictures of my bestie! :D

Oh! And these are the pictures of a very cute and adorable boy!

He is Teacher Stella's son. He is cute, isn't he? :D
And  these are random pictures. :)

In a nut shell, I had had a nice day that day and I believe everyone did too. The event sure brought smiles and joys to the teachers, students and visitors. Well done Saint Franciscans! :)

Arnold H. Glasow said, "Success isn't a result of spontaneous combustion. You must set yourself on fire."
Hence, I believe that all Saint Franciscans really travailed for weeks to make sure the event went well as planned. :)

001 : Choice of Colours in Lives

`Life's Palette

There is such a plethora of colors in this world and every single of them could represent many meanings. Red, for instance, could represent the feelings of love and passion. Even the heart shape is red in color. The color of grey could show the feeling of gloom while black is the synonym of darkness. In life, we could not run from all these colors; they are everywhere. In fact, we color our lives!

Having realized about the affinity of life with colors, I named my second blog as "Life's Palette" and decided to conclude at least a name of color in my every post title, if possible. Hee. Okay. I think it's enough with the introduction.

So, hello viewers! I'm Ani, the owner of this modest blog. Obviously, I am one of the active netizens and perhaps an active blogger. I plan to post a post every week, if I could. My future entries might not be gorgeous but I hope they are not vacuous. So, feel free to browse around. Hope you'll find something valuable here :)

To start, I would like to share a story which I stumbled upon several years ago through the internet, of course. :)

Its title is : Colors of Friendship
Author : Unknown

Once upon a time, the colors of the world started to quarrel. All claimed that they were the best, the most important, the most useful, the favorite.

Green said :
"Clearly, I am the most important. I am the sign of life and of hope. I was chosen for grass, trees and leaves. Without me, all animals would die. Look over the countryside and you will see that I am in the majority."

Blue interrupted :
"You only think about the earth, but consider the sky and the sea. It is the water that is the basis of life and drawn up by the clouds from the deep sea. The sky gives space and peace and serenity. Without my peace, you would all be nothing."

Yellow chuckled :
"You are all so serious. I bring laughter, gaiety and warmth into the world. The sun is yellow, the moon is yellow, the stars are yellow. Every time you look at a sun flower, the whole world starts to smile. Without me, there would be no fun."

Orange started next to blow her trumpet :
"I am the color of health and strength. I may be scarce, but I am precious for I serve the needs of human life. I carry the most important vitamins. Think of carrots, pumpkins, oranges, mangoes and papayas. I don't hang around all the time, but when I fill the sky at sunrise or sunset, my beauty is so striking that no one gives another thought to any of you."

Red could stand it no longer, he shouted out :
"I am the ruler of all of you. I am blood - life's blood! I am the color of danger and of bravery. I am willing to fight for a cause. I bring fire into the blood. Without me, the earth would be as empty as the moon. I am the color of passion and of love, the red rose, the poinsettia and the poppy."

Purple rose up to his full height. He was very tall and spoke with great pomp :
"I am the color of royalty and power. Kings and chiefs have always chosen me for I am the sign of authority and wisdom. People do not question me! They listen and obey."

Finally, Indigo spoke, much more quietly than all the others, but with just as much determination :
"Think of me. I am the color of silence. You hardly notice me, but without me, you all become superficial. I represent thought and reflection, twilight and deep water. You need me for balance and contrast, for prayer and inner peace."

And so the colors went on boasting, each convinced of his or her own superiority. Their quarreling became louder and louder. Suddenly, there was a startling flash of bright lightening thunder rolled and boomed. Rain started to pour down relentlessly. The colors crouched down in fear, drawing close to one another for comfort.

In the midst of the clamor, RAIN began to speak :
"You foolish colors, fighting amongst yourselves, each trying to dominate the rest. Don't you know that you were each made for a special purpose, unique and different? Join hands with one another and come to me."

Doing as they were told, the colors united and joined hands. The rain continued :
"From now on, when it rains, each of you will stretch across the sky in a great bow of color as a reminder that you can all live in peace. The rainbow is a sign of hope for tomorrow."

And so, whenever a good rain washes the world, and a rainbow appears in the sky, let us to remember to appreciate one another. There is something very special in each and every one of us. We have all been gifted with the ability to make a difference.
If we can aware of that gift, we gain through the strength of our vision, the power to shape the future.
