011 : In Front The Hazel Eyes

Sunday, July 31st, 2011

First of all, let us thank GOD for letting us to read this post, to be able to log on to Facebook and other web pages, to cry our hearts out when watching sad and sentimental movies, to get hypnotized by seeing our loved ones and to get peace when viewing the beautiful scenery. :) Without eyes, can we do all these interesting activities?

I was once have had such a reliable and 'high resolution' pair of eyes. Well, of course the level of my eyes' resolution is nothing compared to that of an electron microscope but they were extremely incredible. No jokes. But then, I was neglecting them. I didn't care of their condition by staring at the screen of laptop or computer for such a long period, typing messages in the dark, reading books without taking time to give my baby a rest. :( This, I regret.

But GOD knows what's the best for us. So, I'm thanking GOD for giving me more less 17 years of having a very good sight and I am very sorry for accidentally taking things for granted. :(
All I can do now is moving on with my short-sighted eyes. Of course it's saddening when I have to wear spectacles now. It's not that I won't look good in it but its price - it will cost daddy a lot. :(
Looking at the bright side, there are several 'benefits' of having a short-sighted eyes. :) One of them is we are starting to appreciate things. We suddenly will look back on what we have had previously. This would be a lesson for us on other matters.

So, before yours eyes starting to reduce their resolution and get worse, here are some tips on how to take care of your eyes.

1. Eat carrot! Carrot will improve our eyesight. Deficiency of vitamin A can cause some difficulty seeing in dim light. Since carrot is rich in vitamin A, it is good for improving eyesight.
2. Wear protective eye-wear. Wear protective eye wear when playing sports or doing activities around the home. Protective eye wear includes safety glasses and goggles, safety shields, and eye guards specially designed to provide the correct protection for a certain activity.
3. Be cool and wear your shades. Sunglasses are a great fashion accessory, but their most important job is to protect our eyes from the sun's ultraviolet rays. So, grab one today!
4. Clean your hands and your contact lenses properly. Always wash your hands thoroughly before putting in or taking out your contact lenses, This is to avoid the risk of infection. Make sure to disinfect contact lenses as instructed and replace them as appropriate.
5. Give your 'babies' a rest! Eyes, resemble any other organs in our body need to rest. So, getting enough sleep is crucial in order to refresh them.
